2016 Hinckley Talaria 34

INTRODUCTION:

With her teak decking as well as varnished coamings and pilothouse liners and dash, ISLAY is a beautiful example of the Talaria 34. Her current owners have had a professional yacht management company help with her maintenance and regular cleaning and checkups throughout the season. She is an exceptionally clean boat and will not disappoint a potential buyer. Besides her regular annual maintenance, recent significant work includes reconditioning the jet impellers as well as a full service and cleaning of the engine heat exchangers and coolers.

HULL AND DECK:

Construction:

• Hull:  Hinckley DualGuard Plus® Composite Construction- Aramid fiber/E-glass outer skin. Corecell M Foam for core. Carbon fiber/e-glass internal structure. Laminated with vinylester resin using Seaman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP®).
• Deck: E-glass outer and inner skin with Corecell M Foam for core. Laminated using Seaman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP®).

• Stainless steel half round on fiberglass molded rub rail

• Hinckley designed heavy-duty fiberglass swim platform painted to match hull color with teak treads, stainless steel supports and half round.

• Stainless steel telescoping 3-step folding swim ladder that stores under platform
• Molded quarter guards painted to match hull extending forward from swim platform with stainless steel  half round
• Stainless steel handrail on transom painted to match hull

Deck Features:

COCKPIT:

INTERIOR BELOW:

The interior is finished in satin-varnished cherry. The cabin sole is varnished teak and tulipwood. Overhead is V-groove with cherry trim. Varnished cherry locker doors with louvered upper doors. (5) stainless steel LED bulkhead lights switched at fixture.

Entry is from the pilothouse companionway to the galley to port, private head to starboard and the V-berth accommodations forward.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:

Low resistance, copper wire and sacrificial zinc anode bonding system. Zinc saver.

12-Volt system:

• Start – Two 12-volt AGM Group 31 batteries with 880 CCA capability each.
• House – (1) 12-volt AGM GPL-4DA – 210-amps each.
• Heavy-duty battery parallel switch allows emergency starting.
• Two 150- amp 12 Volt D.C. alternators, one for house batteries and one for starting batteries.
• 12-volt distribution panel using thermal-magnetic breakers with volt and amp meters
• Victron 300W Pure Sine Wave inverter which allows cooktop or microwave usage away from shore power or generator
• 30- amp charger for house and start batteries
• 30-amp – 110v shore power cord.
