2006 Protector 28' Cabin RIB

"Jomo" is a well-maintained Protector Targa 28, ideal as a tender or commuter vessel. Known for its deep V-hull and tall bow, this Protector boat offers excellent seakeeping capabilities. The hull is robustly constructed from fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) with a 1-inch core and syntactic foam in the planning strakes, providing durability and enhanced performance. Heavy rubber guards and safety ropes along the tubes add extra protection.

The cockpit features both open and enclosed sections with a fiberglass hardtop, weather-protective enclosures, and a teak and holly sole. Equipped with Simrad radar, antennas, and an LED floodlight, it’s perfect for cruising and fishing. The aft bench seat folds forward for easy access to engine batteries. A hard glass windshield offers weather protection, and drop-down seats allow the captain and crew to stand in rough conditions. The cabin includes two settees with storage and an electric toilet beneath the port settee.

Powered by twin 250HP Mercury outboard engines installed in 2020, "Jomo" delivers 500HP with just 180 hours of use. The vessel's electronics include Simrad and B&G systems, along with additional features like a stainless steel rocket launcher, making it an excellent choice for cruising and fishing enthusiasts.
