2002 Outremer 55 STANDARD

Marsden Cove, New Zealand

$475,000

Purchased in January 2022 by her current owners, Skylark is a proven blue water performance catamaran. The family of four sailed her from Florida to New Zealand from Feb 2023 to Nov 2024, averaging 206 miles per day during passages. They found her fast and exhilarating to sail, while also being safe and comfortable for their young kids. They constantly out sailed many, new performance catamarans, especially in light winds. Being able to sail around weather and sail in light winds, kept them dry whilst hardly using engines on passage, over the last 8,000 miles. With 1800w of solar and 800amp hrs of Lithium batteries, living off grid without a generator was a great pleasure.

Owner's words: "We are sad to sell Skylark. We had outfitted her with the intent to circumnavigate, and she has proven to be a worthy boat for the task. Unfortunately for us financial constraints and a business call us back to the United States. It is important to us for Skylark to find good owners and is looked after as she has been for the last few years. We are happy to support the new owners during this changing of ownership to transfer knowledge and answer any questions. "
