The Algerian Express Cat 19 is an easy to sail and great performing day sailer. She points higher than most cat boats and has a large, self-bailing cockpit, perfect for casually sailing with up to 6 adults. Cockpit and cabin cushions included. Her carbon fiber mast rotates for furling and reefing making her safe in any surprise conditions and easy to get on and off the dock. The boat was designed with a drop down centerboard and retractable barn door rudder allowing for owner trailerability.

Comes with a Torqueedo electric outboard and a solar panel for charging.

Includes trailer, cover and two mainsails.

The Alerion Express 19 Cat boat is a modern interpretation of the tried and true cat boats that were popularized for their sea-worthiness, favorable drafts, stability and versatility. A comfortable day-sailer with cockpit room for up to 6 adults, the Alerion Express 19 is an easily managed sail boat envisioned with simplicity at its core. Some of the notable features of this design include the easily managed, reefing main sail, keel with drop down center board for sailing advantage while remaining beachable and trailerable, and a small cuddy-cabin providing a nice area for gear storage or utilized as a 2-person berth. 

The boat was designed by Gary Hoyt and built by TPI Composites out of Portsmouth, RI.
