1998 Sea Ray Sundancer

New Orleans, Louisiana, United States

$40,000

This 1998 Sea Ray 310 offers a unique layout, that makes the mid-cabin berth an actual stand up, walk-in stateroom, with private access to the centrally located main head compartment. This layout gives you true privacy from guests while they stay aboard with you, instead of just a curtain separating you from each other. Her low hours (195) on the reliable and rebuilt 5.7 Mercruisers make this one stand out from the crowd.

Walk through
Board vessel off swim-platform; easy to enter thru portside transom-door into carpeted aft seating area under the cockpit canvas: central table (stored under cockpit floor) has full wrap-around seating, vinyl upholstery. Using the additional shorter table-leg, the table drops down to make-up the entire aft portion of the cockpit into one large vinyl-upholstered bench seat.

Going forward past the entertaining-sink and self-draining built-in ice-chest, it's a small step up to the wide helm-seating -- captain's seat slides fore/aft, directly adjacent to the two-person co-pilot's seating. Radar-Arch supports Sunbrella "brows" fore and aft; tall isinglass windows dropping from forward brow down to fixed windshield give exceptional forward visibility. Aft brow supports either a sleek slant-back enclosure OR a full-headroom camper-back enclosure with isinglass windows (two window-panels roll-up for ventilation, leaving screens in-place).

Thru the sliding companway door and down two portside stairs to the roomy salon -- galley counter is found all along the portside, full-semicircle seating in sumptuous dark blue leather surrounds the dining table to starboard. Ahead of the seating is a curtained-off forepeak sleeping area featuring a double-berth set athwartship.

Unique to this model, the aft bulkhead of the salon has TWO doors: the midship one enters into a typical enclosed head (sink, shower, and a VacuFlush toilet hidden under shower-seating platform), but the starboard door enters to the standing-headroom portion of the private enclosed aft stateroom -- an arrangement not found on any other Sundancer of this size!. This area has portlights out, a hanging locker, AND a separate door into the head (providing en-suite convenience); double berth athwartship has mirrored headboard and a long opening window out to the cockpit.
