The MARCHESE is a wide beam performance yacht with a breakthrough interior and cockpit. It was designed with an unusual generous space that was used to create more of a sophisticated living room inside and out. Recognized for its primary need of functionality and livability, she is the ideal yacht for extended cruising.

Delivered to the Mediterranean in 1977, the first 53’ Magnum yacht became an enormous success. She was fast, and seaworthy and had the spacious and luxurious interiors of a yacht.

The MARCHESE is Magnum’s iconic oversized race boat. In its day, this was the most prestigious sport yacht to own. Owners have included everyone from Russian oligarchs to Saudi princes, as well as the renowned Ferrari family.

Her current owner loves projects and his passion is restoration. He fell in love with his barn yard find and wanted to restore her to her former glory and bring this iconic yacht back to Magnum’s current standards. Her refit included exterior and interior work and updating all mechanical, electrical, and technology.

To date, the owner has invested over USD $750,000 fully restoring this iconic vessel.

A team of craftsmen and engineers spent the last year carefully removing everything from her hull, decks and interior at Cable Marine in Fort Lauderdale. She now features a new exterior and newly reconfigured salon, master stateroom, and bathroom. The entire deck was reconfigured as well, and she received new electrical wiring, a new water fuel tank plumbing, and new running gear. There is not a square inch of the vessel that hasn’t been replaced or refurbished.

She is equipped with twin Detroit Diesel 8V92 engines with 640 hp each with warranty. Both engines were rebuilt in 2020 with only 15 hours. They are now fully electronically controlled with a new engine management system.

An extensive list of works completed is available upon request.

A new Magnum comparable to this magnificent vessel would be over USD $3 million. Offered at a fraction of the cost of a new vessel, the MARCHESE is a steal when looking for a 52’-60’ open boat that delivers speed and luxury. This beast will get anywhere in almost any sea conditions.
