1983 Tayana 55

Annapolis, Maryland, United States

$229,000

MYSTIC CHORD, ex SEAQUIL, was originally commissioned in CT as BIG BEAR and spent the first 10 years on the east coast of the US. She was then sold and sailed to the Caribbean and then on to the west coast of the US. When on the west coast she sold again and was  renamed LEAU LIFE. LEAU LIFE then sailed to Fiji and back and upon her return to the US she stayed in Hawaii for 4 years with the owner living aboard. From 2010 to 2014 LEAU LIFE was then based on San Francisco Bay.

The previous owner purchased her in 2014 when he took her to the White Knight Yachts in Anacortes, WA for a major refit (see description below for refit details as well as more recent upgrades). After the refit she was named SEAQUIL and relaunched in 2018. With her then young family of 5 aboard, SEAQUIL departed Washington and sailed to Mexico then to Ecuador, Panama and Colombia. When COVID19 started, SEAQUIL sailed to Tampa, Florida where she remained for 1 year. In June 2021 and after a 7,000 mile journey, SEAQUIL arrived into Bristol, RI completing the wonderful family cruise. SEAQUIL was then sold to the present owner in 2022 and was renamed MYSTIC CHORD. The owners have sailed MYSTIC CHORD from Rhode Island to the Chesapeake Bay where she is presently docked.

MYSTIC CHORD is a spectacular cruising yacht with many wonderful features including her 4 sleeping cabin plan, commodious interior, generous galley, walk-in engine room, cutter rig, reasonable draft, major refit and so much more. MYSTIC CHORD is in great shape needing nothing in the way of any major upgrades. She is a turn-key opportunity and ready to begin her new venture.
