BROKERS WALK THRU

This is truly one of those diamonds in the rough. These classic blue water fiberglass sailboats were built like tanks. This boat is extremely solid, top notch construction... and not neglected at all. The seller usually splashes her in the fall and then puts her up for hurricane season.

She had a total refit in 2016 and is functional. A couple items that need addressed the auto pilot and other Raymarine electronics need attention. (Garmin GPS is only 6 months old and works perfect) And while there are 2 good engine batteries, It does need four new house batteries.

There is a survey onboard from 2021 that can be seen in person. The boat is currently insured and should be able to be piggy backed by the new owner pretty easily with the current insurance company, if required.

Seller is in a situation where he has to many toys and is ready to start offloading.

VERY NOTABLE DETAILS

Obviously with the age of the boat there have been many numerous upgrades and changes, for instance there is a microwave in the galley and could go on and on. Below are the most significant changes/ upgrades and will be noted as a buyers feature.

  • Westerbeke Engine was replaced in 1996 and reportedly rebuilt in 2021 with approximately 100 hours.
  • 2021 Dinghy with a 3.6 HP (2 stroke) Hai Hangkai Outboard
  • NEW 2024 Simrad GXSE7 GPS, Chart plotter, with Fish, Depth and Transducer
  • Very beefy aft mounted Dinghy Davit (unknown origin)

2016 REFIT

  • Brand New Bow Sprit
  • Brand New Mast and Mast Wiring
  • Brand New Standing Rigging and Running Rigging
  • Brand New Compression Post
  • Brand New Chain Plates and Re-Positioned to Exterior
  • Brand New Front Hatch
  • Brand New Roller Furling
  • Brand New Bathroom w Plumbing
  • Brand New interior Cushions
  • Brand New Compass
  • Brand New Fresh Water Tanks
  • Brand New Cutlass Bearing

AGAIN TO NOTE:

This boat has excellent bones she is extremely solid. These boats were built so very strong back then with lots of extra fiberglass you do not see today. The engine is reportedly in great condition and the seller just finished cruising her this last fall - spring cruising season, she has not been on the hard for 5 months...

All helm electronics that were replaced in 2016 (and not noted above) are in need of new wiring or being replaced. They are not currently functioning. There are 2 engine batteries in good condition. The boat is in need of 4ea. brand new house batteries that have been removed.

This boat was outfitted with Air Conditioning it has been removed. To the novice this sounds bad. It is not.. Very rare to find a boat in this age range that ever-had air conditioning. This will make it much simpler to install a brand new and more efficient unit. The very last photo (in all of our major advertising and /or our website) is the location are where the air conditioning was kept.
