Westward is one of the last of 14 Hinckley competition 41’s built.  Primarily sailed summers in Maine and stored and serviced by Hinckley in Southwest Harbor, Westward has been continually maintained and upgraded by her current owner of over 20 years.  In 2011 she was thoroughly gone over and upgraded to prepare her for the Marblehead - Halifax race with improvements including a thorough rig inspection and replacement of anything suspect; new lifelines; securing cabin for knockdown; new self-tailing winches and much more.  A joy to sail, Westward is tucked away for the winter getting ready for her next season and owner.
