1950 Herreshoff double end

Bath, North Carolina, United States

$135,000

Designed and owned by L. Francis Herreshoff! She was built by the Luders Yard and was reportedly used for a time as a pace boat on the Harvard crew team. Launched in 1992 with a layout that is designed for for coastal cruising or for the use of a hotel suite, she is absolutely stunning with different types of wood. With a mahogany hull that is bronze fastened and encapsulated in epoxy, she is completely watertight when launched and doesn't require the maintenance or soaking typically needed on wooden boats.
