Boat's ownership history:

Two owners from new, the first had the boat for 9 years, and originally rigged it for blue water cruising. They completed the ARC in 2014, and did very little sailing until the current owners purchased this Elan Impression 444 in May 2022. Over the past two years the owners have extensively upgraded the boat to make it a comfortable fast Med cruiser.

Some of the upgrades include; 700w Solar, 450Ah Lithium house batteries, 3Kw inverter, Victron monitoring, new AGM start, windlass and bow-thruster batteries, full Copper-coat late 2023, new canvas, spray hood, Bimini, winter enclosure, sun-screens, fore-deck sun bed. New Rocna anchor. New Life Raft and offshore flare pack. New VHF and AIS, TrueDesign thru-hulls and sea cocks, Installed dual SIM industrial router for onboard Wi-Fi, additional mobile range Starlink compatible.

The Volvo Penta D2-55 engine with sail drive has been well maintained with a full engine service, new exhaust elbow, manifold and heat exchanger refurbishment, new lift pump, new sail drive diaphragm and leg overhaul this year.

Accommodation

The journey in style continues below deck, with an airy interior, clean lines and plenty of natural light coming from various deck and hull windows.

Designed as a semi deck-saloon, the Elan Impression 444 features a large settee around the saloon table on portside and another settee on starboard. With the saloon table folded out it has space for the crew and a few visitors. The saloon offers plenty of space and the generous galley is well equipped with oven, gas burner hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and double sink.

The aft owners cabin features a large island double berth, lots of storage and plenty of natural light. The owner's cabin has an ensuite off to the starboard.

Forward you will find a double vee-berth in the bow, and a double bunk cabin off to port. There is a heads forward to starboard.

The saloon sofa/ table converts to make an additional double bed.
