Having worked in the industry for over 20 years, Tim has a wealth of knowledge in many areas of the trade. Previous roles included marina operations, new boat sales and commissioning of new boats. He has now been with Nicolle Associates for over 10 years during which he has managed the repair and refit of our clients’ boats and sold brokerage boats around the World.
In his spare time, you will find Tim cruising on his own boat, or cooking up delicious meals as he is an enthusiastic chef.
Tim is a qualified Yachtmaster Offshore.

RCD Status:
The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” (or Cat B – whichever is appropriate)
Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:
- GRP sandwich hull construction using balsa core and Isophthalic resin and NGA gelcoat for improved osmosis resistance.
- GRP sandwich deck with balsa core, laid with solid caulked teak, screwed with acid resistant stainless steel screws and deck laid in silicon.
- Coachroof, cockpit seats, and bathing platform are also teak laid.
- Cockpit sole has removable teak grating.
- Substantial teak-capped bulwark
- Stainless Steel capped rubbing strake which is an integral part of the hull moulding.
- Copper coat applied inside professionally in 2013.

Accommodation:
Summary of Accommodation:
- Standard upholstery in the aft and forward cabins, but in the main saloon all seats are covered in leather.
- Two seats on starboard side of main saloon, and extra cupboards and shelves. (Currently converted to a single pilot berth, but can easily be re-instated to two seat configuration)
Description of layout from forwards:
The interior is based upon the standard layout option A with double berth in the owner’s suite as per layout C (see diagram). This is an example of Najad’s willingness to build yachts to the owner’s exact requirements.
The layout allows for a total of 6 berths, including the 1 saloon settees used as sea-berth and the pilot berth (complete with lee-cloths, together with a large amidship heads and shower
The forward cabin has two singles in the bows which can be converted to a comfortable double (berth lengths 6’7”) with the supplied infill cushion.
The shower cabin is ensuite to the forecabin and located to port. This is trimmed in Corian and teak. Opposite the shower cabin and located to starboard is a large hanging locker. (Note the toilet has been removed from the forward ensuite, but one could easily be fitted if desired)
The saloon features a central folding leaf table on a pedestal base with L-shaped settee seating to port and two seats to starboard. Both settees form useful seaberths with lee-cloths.
The chart table area is forward facing to starboard aft of the saloon seating and forward of the heads and uses a folding chart-seat arrangement. Extensive storage for Admiralty sized-charts can be found in the table and a special chart-locker beneath the deck.
The galley is located aft of saloon seating to port and incorporates an L-shaped work surface reaching aft along the walkway to the owner’s cabin. The galley uses laminated worktops and twin S/S sinks, cooker, top opening refrigerator and ample stowage lockers.
The midships heads is located to starboard aft of the chart table and incorporates a heads, washbasin, mirror, stowage lockers and shower. All surfaces are laminated and finished in GRP, Corian and teak.
The aft owner’s cabin is accessed through the portside walkway and is configured with a large double berth. Sprung base comfortable seating and a dressing table can be found to port along with a large hanging locker.

The cockpit layout is configured (as per Pete Goss’s suggestion in Yachting Monthly) so that the main and foresail can be reefed in/out without anyone having to leave the cockpit.
